This museum is bigger than it looks, as it has an annexe across the street which has lots of artefacts and information, as well as toilets and a shop. We watched a short film in English about the history of the Hugenots - it was...More

Plenty history here. Perhaps the other building opposite is even better. Fine long case clocks and even stuffed animals.

Having moved recently to South Africa, I was curious about the Huguenot history here. The museum was very helpful! The information was plentiful, and most of it was presented in English as well as French and Afrikaans. Great period furniture as well. I'd recommend it.

This very interesting museum needs time to be enjoyed. Allow at least an hour as it cannot be rushed. Well worth it and very useful.

Its cheap to get in and there is enough info to just about justify the charge. lots of no touch signs bit a bit more effort on curating the objects and definitions would help

HI TB, yes, there actually is a little restaurant just next to it. Small and quaint.
