My absolute favourite Wine Cellar. Take your pick of about 10 different wine tastings - sit inside or under the trees in the shady garden. We've visited this cellar a few times - and every time the staff is very friendly and helpful. The most amazing wines. And don't forget the refillable 3L bottle red wine!!

We had a late Sunday lunch at van Loveren and the staff were kind enough to arrange a tasting at the restaurant. The waitresses at the restaurant deserve a special mention for being so great at that time of the day! Thank you Celia and Carmen for adding great service to delicious food in a beautiful garden.

We stopped in here just to stock up on wines, but I landed up buying the excellent balsamic vinegars and preserves as well. The wine is very well priced, and the selection is vast. The staff are extremely friendly and I was very impressed at the care taken in packing the preserves which I had bought. We did not do... More

We sat in the shady garden for a wine tasting paired with cheeses. The options are multitudinous; you could also opt for chacuterie, chocolate... This family vineyard produces a prolific quantity of wine which makes choosing somewhat arbitrary unless you have a better informed sommelier than we did, or you have the knowledge yourself. I actually thought this was rather... More

Was a lovely pre lunch stop over. We enjoyed a variety of different tastings on offer. From the wines to mcc to brandy and whiskey. All really lovely. Great friendly service. Awesome grounds. Thank you

What an oasis of beauty. The gardens are beautiful and should not be missed. Their wines are good value.

Upon arrival at the main desk the couple who arrived before us were told to go through and pay afterwards. So we followed through just to get sent back to pay first (but if you purchase wine the tasting is for free) (at least for some) our slip was taken from us and before we could say what we wanted... Van Loveren is a nice winery to visit, a good reception and a Cafe/Restaurant with a shady patio, it's very popular with people especially locals for Sunday Brunch/Lunch. We went do do the 7km???? (This seemed a conservative estimate , plan for about 3.5 hrs, take plenty of water if it's hot) Biodiversity Hike on the estate. The walk/hike starts... More

I visited the wine-tasting centre at the invitation of their Key Account & Brand Manager because I had contacted her with a query regarding the bottles that they use. I was clearly expected and received the most wonderful treatment. I'm a fan of the Tangled Tree range of wines, and had a fun time doing some tasting. She then spent... More

Stumbled upon this place by accident. Very impressed. Lekker place for a drink with friends. Went for an ABF (Absolutely Bloody Final) drink, but stayed for another.
