We had 2 nights in the NP in a 2 bed room cottage. Great location, well fitted and comfortable. With no predators, the game is quite relaxed and if you have time and ability, you can walk and swim. A great introduction to Africa for...More

Very pleasant, relaxed and tidy. We stayed for one night and enjoyed the view from our stoep with cocktails and a braai. The game drive could do with more detailed directions.

Saw the bontebok close up and had a good trip through this well kept nature reserve close to Swellendam. It would have been good to see a bit more types of antelope. Good braii areas.

We did a short trip into the park (about 2.5 hours) which was just enough to see the wildlife and soak up some nature. The Rhenosterveld vegetation was my highlight here, and the fields of ericas and various proteas were a treat. We just had...More

When we visited three weeks ago that was not necessary. I don't know about now with the South African Xmas holidays, but would still think it is not necessary.
