Definitely worth it, but not spectacular for the underwater life. Rock remnants of old lava flow from the 1963 volcanic eruption are obvious and remind me of Molokai.

It was a great experience. We went around 2 PM and we had a lot of divers for company. Good life and good visibility. I would suggest doing an early morning dive around 6 AM or so. It would be a terrific place to do...More

I dove this site 10/16/2016 at 2 pm. It sits right offshore from a large dive resort that approaches the wreck from shore. We were the only group there with another 8 from the resort next to the wreck. I am an intermediate experienced diver...More

I'd been here for scuba a few years before and remembered how shallow the wreck was, so decided to revisit for freediving. Lots to see between 5m and 20m and very close to the shore. Lots of openings to swim in and out of. I...More

I'd been before, a couple of years back, but didn't remember quite as much much and silt that covers pretty much everything around the ship. It reminded me of a city after a volcano eruption, there's this layer of grey over everything. But what under...More

100% recommend this site. Did both diving and snorkelling here. Night diving was incredible, few divers and many larger fish. The visibility is amazing, clear water (I went at full moon for best visibility). Amazing sea life. Saw some divers lacking care navigating around coral...More

This was my first wreck dive. It was amazing. Our guide Wayan was awesome. We saw bump head parrot fish which were huge. Lost count of the fish varieties. The wreck is pretty big but definitely worth the visit. We dived with Aqua Dive Paradise....More

We are 2 people traveling to Bali in early June. We aren't certified divers and I don't know how to swim. Would it be fine for us to book the full day dive?

I went with Nico Dives and he was able to safely assess non swimmers on introductory dive course. You cannot jump straight for liberty shipwreck without doing an intro course first inside a pool and shallow open water to see... More

Yes, but you'll enjoy it better if you are comfortable in the water. At least if you can snorkel, it should be ok.

You can try it (intro, DSD or Try Dive) but for the certification you have to swim 400 m 😊
