My family greatly enjoyed the ride. I was unable to ride because I'm 6'9" and 270 lbs, but that is not unusual with trail riding. Two of my kids and their Uncle took the ride this time. It was very affordable for a solid 2-hour ride, and Donald doesn't start the clock until after everyone is saddled up and ready... More

Excellent! Have been on many trail rides all over the West....this is at the top of my favorites list... Owners are extremely courteous, friendly and accommodating. Went out of their way to work around our condensed schedule. Beautiful countryside, great value, exceptional proprietor.

We had Family visiting from out of town and took them to Cedar Crest Stables for a 2 hour horseback ride - they loved it! We have taken out of town guests here before and we are always please with Donald and his great horses! Donald is informative and friendly and my niece & nephew enjoyed his jokes. I would... More

We took a 2 hour horseback ride and loved it! It was my husband and I plus our 69 year old aunt and my 14 year old son. The horses are beautiful and well taken care of and are easy to handle. The scenery is beautiful and Donald is a lot of fun and full of information! We definitely recommend... More

We were looking for some horseback riding in the Cibola National Forest in Albuquerque, NM. The option in the tourist magazine wasn't going to be an option for us so we googled places. I called around to a couple of places and Cedar Crest Stables was reasonably priced. It was a relatively short drive to the other side of the... More

This is a great operation - well run stables, beautifully kept horses and Donald has quite a personality! I went for a two hour trail ride and had a great time. Our guide was particularly good with a first-time rider but was also good with riders that had more experience. The trail is up into the mountains, a great view... More

Awesome experience! Donald was a wonderful guide/storyteller... attentive, amusing, and knowledgeable. Horses were great on the rocky trail up and down the mountain. My group consisted of two adults and four teens/preteens and we all agreed that it was an excellent, would-love-to-do-it-again adventure. The scenery was beautiful and our ride was even more special because it snowed (big, powdery snowflakes)... More

Went for a 2 hour trail ride at this facility. It was awesome. Donald was a great guide. I'm not the most experienced rider, and before the ride, he went over several safety items that were never mentioned in my previous rides. These tips came in very handily because of the hills on the ride. The scenery on the ride... More

My wife and I had a wonderful 4 hour waterfall ride. Our horses, "Kip" and "Butch" were awesome, and are two of the most gentle and pleasant horses we have had the pleasure of riding. Donald's hospitality and storytelling made the ride even more enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking. We hope to visit Cedar Crest Stables again.

Thank James M
