Second Largest Zoo in New Mexico

The 2nd largest zoo in the state of NM. Good outing for children and adults. Well kept and the giraffe is a hoot!

I am from Orlando. So there isn't much to do here at all. I love coming to the zoo. Yes, it might get boring if you go too many times, but I love animals and seeing them in person. I would love to work here.

In fact, probably one of the smallest zoos I've ever visited. But that's okay by me. My view is that they're helping to preserve the species that they have for future generations, and educating those same future generations about the animals.

Great gem! This was such a wonderful find. I was pleasantly surprised to find out we had such a great zoo here in Clovis! It even better to know that such a large majority of the animals have been rescued from other zoos? It is even larger then it appears from the outside.

I've been to this zoo a few times before but its been 5+ years ago. I am SUPER impressed with all the improvements that have been made!!! The animals have a lot of room and all looked very healthy. We even saw an albino peacock! $4 adults, $2 kids--definitely worth it! Prices in the gift shop were very reasonable!!! Thumbs... More

I have been taking my kids and now grandkid there for years. Nice zoo. Dont compare it to some big city zoo, because we aren't a big city. But it is a great place to spend the day with your kids.

Sweet little zoo with fabulous animals! They're in chain link fences, but with tons of room and other animals near by to entertain them. People can get really close and animals are very interactive. They walk up to look at you and share their beautiful faces. Friendly staff, love to share. Really a gem of a zoo. And only $3.00... More

Wonderful zoo for the size of the town. Fun-filled outdoor activity for children and adults alike. There's lots to see and the grandkids love to feed the ducks. The price is extremely family friendly.

They are very proud of being the second largest zoo in New Mexico (behind Albuquerque). Size-wise, there's no comparison. But it's a fun place, well done, and something they do have the right to be proud of. Hours are very limited (they close early, even on summer week-ends, when it would make sense to entice business with the long evenings),... More
