Quick, very easy hike! I hiked this trail after hiking the Slot Canyon Trail and personally, after all I saw on the Canyon trail, I felt the Lava Cave Loop isn't comparable. Perhaps if you choose to hike this trail first, it might be more...More

We had a great walk - just about 1 mile. The rock formations are wonderful to see / very different. Be prepare to to walk on loose sand in done areas. Overall an easy walk.

This is a great place for a nice hike while being surrounded by amazing scenery. There are two trails, the cave loop being less taxing.

Fun walk up hill to a once long ago occupied cave. Beautiful view of mountains beyond the tent rock canyon. Slight downhill walk and more tent rocks along the canyon wall. Easy walk.

Do this trail prior to the other as this trail is simple with little to endurance required. Easy trail with a small cave view. If you have to skip one, skip this one and do the canyon trail instead.

The Cave Loop Trail is the easier of the two hikes at Kasha-Katuwe Tree Rocks National Monument. The change in elevation is minimal but you still get to see some of the Tent Rocks. The views are definitely not as spectacular as those on the...More
