Pristine and well-worth it as a day hike or an extended outing. We took the Continental Divide Trail to open meadow area at the top.

The San Pedro Parks Wilderness is a great place to hike, the elevation is around 10,000 feet, San Gigorio (Sp)? lake is about 1 mile in (if you come from Cuba). lots of aspen trees for fall color viewing, try fishing the lake or on...More

The San Pedro's Parks are a cool, green contrast to the badlands west of Cuba. There are no fantastic sites or towering peaks, but miles and miles of high Mtns parks at 10,000 ft. Just some really nice all day crushing minus the crowds back...More
