We really found this place to be fun and entertaining.The guy that owns this is a real treat. He will tell you ll you need to know about thunder eggs and geodes. Stop here for sure, YES.

Be prepared to learn a lot about rocks. The owner is a walking encyclopedia and has some beautiful pieces. He's been there a long time and the building was built just for the museum. Neat place to visit if you have the time.

This place has the best selection of local thunder eggs aka geodes ever seen. They have their own claim where they dig geodes out of the ground.

Colorful guys totally dedicated to geode mining, processing, display and sales operate this museum slash store. We love to check out the great display. These guys are living encyclopedias on all topics geode. Highly recommended.
