What a nice store! Helpful knowledgeable staff. Beautiful well made jewelry. Just a little ways from Gallup, but worth the trip.

If you are looking for turquoise the extra 25 minutes to get to Winfield is the best investment of time you can make. I have bought several pieces of jewelry there but the most fun has been when I wanted something extra special. On those occasions Justin helped me pick stones which we had made into jewelry. He has told... More

We have been making an annual shopping trek to Winfield Trading the past several years with a group of our hot air ballooning friends. I can say that they truly understand customer service, they treat you warmly and genuinely appreciate our business. Our group spent several hours there this past Friday and you are never rushed or pressured to make... More

After visiting the store outside Gallup, and being shown every consideration from lovely store folk, including their amazing warehouse room...arrived home in Seattle and decided I really wanted to buy one of those necklaces I saw...emailed the store and one of their great reps worked with me via e-mail, including sending pictures of various necklaces, sizes, prices....and when I decided... We know the area well and have collected Native American art for decades. If you are looking for pottery, baskets, or jewelry this is the place. They have been in business here for 60 yrs. We appreciate the authenticity and quality of the selections found at Winfields. The customer service provided there is first rate. I recently lost a large... More

I discovered Winfield trading about five years ago, and since then I have found many neat gifts for my wife and daughter. There are many choices in the Gallup area, but when I am looking for great gift idea at a good price, I shop here!!!

We have visited Gallup, NM many times and always browse the sources of Native American artifacts and jewelry, where we have also bought some remarkable finds and artisan craftsmanship. If you follow the highway billboards and publication ads, you'd shop at Richardson's, Perry Null, Ellis Tanner and Shush Yaz (now closed). There are other outlets in town, you can await... More

Wonderful design and crafting in both traditional and contemporary Zuni and Navajo jewelry, fetishes, and pottery. There is nothing junky here. These folks also have blankets and basketry, but I never get past the first three categories. We live in New Mexico and have visited Winfield several times, and bought some of our favorite pieces here. They know the active... More

This was our first trip to Winfield Trading Company and well worth the short trip out of town! We've been to other local trading companies and Winfield has one of the best selections of beautiful local handmade jewelry and reasonable prices. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the trip down highway 602 toward Zuni to... More

The first thing I noticed when I drove up was the sign above the front door that says "Smile, you're on camera". Not too impressive, are you implying that I'll be stealing from you? Great way to greet your prospective customers. In this day and age of constant surveillance anyway, what is the the point of a sign like this?... More

Thank you for visiting our company! The reason we advertise our surveillance is because we get a much better insurance rate to do so. We choose the "Smile" sign instead of "CCTV recording in progress" specifically so our customers would not feel uncomfortable or insecure! As far as the vintage/estate section of our gallery, our only intent is to inform... More
