We had a delicious rib eye steak. Warm welcome and great food. A traditional English pub that must never be lost to the modern world. Great meeting place with good food and banter from the landlord and landlady and locals.
The George Amesbury cannot be beaten for the best Carvery on Sunday! We eat here often not too far from home.
The Carvery has at least nine veggies, three meats to choose from sometimes four, homemade gravy from the meats. Yorkers, devil on horseback, sage...More
