We stayed at camping Pyrenees Natura in Estaing and went here a few times. Lovely lake with amazing views, great walk and a river that allows for fantastic dam building. It is much less touristy than many other parts of Pyrenees and has often a...More

This is a nice place to be. You can drive straight to the lake. Horses are walking loose and you can buy an ice cream in the local shop. Nice to wander around.

Wonderfully located lake at end of the valley with superb views and easy walk round the lake or easy access to choice of hiking trails. Streams for little ones to play in and cafe and restaurant close by.

We spent a lovely couple of hours here. We picnicked next to the lake and then spent an hour wandering around it. We didn't try the restaurant but wonderful setting next to the lake and surrounded by mountains.

Amazing place, and very restful. Restaurant at the lake (adjoining the shop) doesn't look anything special, but cannot comment as we didn't eat there, but everything else makes for a lovely day out with great walking.
