Met my mechanic here to follow to his garage. The grounds were very nice with interesting architecture.

Twelve years ago I went to this church only to find it closed. On my most recent trip I tried again with no luck. The outside is lovely and I did get to sit in the garden. Maybe the third time will be the charm...More

I'm so glad I was able to see this mission. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go inside because we were too late. Still it's a beautiful mission that inspired so many beautiful works of art. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.

I stopped here along my trip to visit Santa Fe. This church was truly amazing and it was inspiring to see!

Yes, this is the church that Georgia O'Keeffe painted. They have Sunday services - one in Spanish and one in English. We attended the 10am service in English. The sermon/homily was very well thought out. Photos are not permitted in the church, but you can...More

We stopped at this church on our way from Taos to Santa Fe. There is plenty of parking in the plaza outside. The church is beautiful. Well maintained with a gorgeous interior. Free to enter. The shops around the plaza were all closed and boarded...More

Yes the roof is adobe brick laid over timber. Build in a 30 year period in the late 1700s. This mission is not actually in Taos but in Ranchos de Taos, a few miles south of Taos Plaza. Paintings and photographs by famous artist such...More

The church is pretty. Not spectacular, but it's quite pretty. The architecture is nice and the courtyard in front of the entrance is pretty.

I love this place, it’s calming. I visit every time I come to the area. The sense of history and reverence is everywhere. Even if you are not Catholic, it’s a nice place to visit. The architecture and statues on the property are simple and...More

This was part of our tour we took on the High Road to Taos. It was a beautiful church made of the true adobe which we were told takes 500 people a week to redo it every single year. We did not go inside but...More

No restrictions were given by our tour guide. Most of the people I saw were in pants, capris or shorts with a respectful top--t-shirt, pull-over, or jacket.

Easy parking at the back of the church (which is the street side) or go around the church (from either side) and park at the front of the church. I know seems confusing but it's not once you're there!
