We stopped in Solano's to simply look around and wow were we impressed! They had anything and everything you'd want to be an authentic cowboy/girl. We were treated so nice and shown things we didn't know we needed. Wonderful hat bands, chin bands that exceeded anything we'd ever seen before. My husband is seriously contemplating some custom boots as he... More

We stopped in as I had read that they carried some Old West western wear as well as current things. Unexpectedly, they were having a 20% off sale for Labor Day Weekend. It was wonderful. I bought things I had not planned to purchase but their regular prices were very fair and with the sale, it was terrific. The hats... More

Always enjoy the home town friendly atmosphere and employees. One of the best western stores around. Highly recommend it. Also do leather repair.

We popped in to browse while passing through Raton. They have an amazing hat and boot section - probably the best I've ever seen. We enjoyed seeing all of the old, worn cowboy hats they have on display. They had a great selection of clothes, jewelry, and accessories. Wish we had more money to spend, but we were at the... More

We went in to buy a western belt for a gift. These people really know their stuff!! Very helpful in explaining sizing, material, and quality. Made sure we got what we wanted and included a business card in our purchase in case it did not work out or fit. The people made us feel like we were valued customers. Extensive... More

I checked out this store online then I knew I would stop here as we passed through. I brought my boots with me to get repaired and Andy dropped what he was doing and fixed my boots. They are like new now. And they also have a great western store in the front. They all were real nice to me... More

This is a good western store that has clothes, hats, boots and accessories. Attached is a leather working shop. The guy has been there many, many years. He repairs boots, makes saddles, tack and hand tools leather belts, scabbards, etc. I'm having him tool me a belt. Very welcoming place.

This place is like stepping back in time to the old west. They have a cowboy hat museum. You get treated with old west hospitality. Boots and hats, shirts, skirts and pants. You can get all decked out and have fun at the same time.

Solano's Boot and Western Wear is a wonderful place to visit with the staff as they are very friendly and pleasant folks. The store is filled with just about anything a Cowboy or Gal would want or need and in an "Old West" environment. Not to forget to mention that they also have one of the best leather repair shops...
