A Fun Free Concert

We attended a free concert on a Sunday evening. It was lots of fun and the people were really welcoming and friendly. It really added to our Red River vacation!

I first went to the Community House in 1964, learned to square dance in 1965, met my first love in 1966. I went back 50 years later in August 2016. It was wonderful, remembering my parents two-stepping around the dance floor, being dragged around the square dance floor by a girl I met there when I was 15. Dancing with... More

We went here on out last night of our visit. I am not always one to get up and dance, however, they were teaching line dances and my mom, daughter, and I had a blast!!

We were having a great hike up to Middle Fork with our two great guides, and a storm hit. Lightning struck and our guides sent us all back down the mountain. Professional and very knowledgeable on the forest,...The Community Center offers several free hikes. We will definitely go again next time we are in RR!!

I've only visited during the summer. An especially great place for kids and teens to do things in a welcoming environment. Beware some of the games, though: they... More

These free events were the highlight of our visit. ** On Saturday night we enjoyed a family-oriented night of country line-dancing. All ages were taught simple line dances, which were interspersed with more traditional 'country two-step' dances. The hat was passed towards the night's end to collect donations to defray costs, but it was very low key. It was a... More

If you are looking for who, what, where, when, and why, you need look no further. The staff are friendly and know everything going on in the town. They are not there to shepherd you to any one thing, but want to get to know you and help you find what fits your family on your trip. Donate, they are... More

Our grandchildren did the boat building and races on Wednesday afternoon. It was more crowded than we expected but they have a great time.
