No alcohol allowed per sign at Lea Lake campground. No ground fires – I don’t know if this means you can bring an outdoor fireplace but the camp hosts had firewood and one had a visible portable fireplace. Odd layout without much privacy. Very quiet....More

I took 4 teenage boys to Bottomless Lakes for a day trip. It is a State Park so the cost is $5 per vehicle for a day pass. The boys really had a good time swimming & playing in the lake. There are paddle boats...More

Bottomless lakes is about 12 miles east of Roswell. Short drive to get there. If your looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. Great place for riding bikes and/or camping.

It is a very scenic drive through the desert to here then you come to what looks like an Oasis in the middle of the desert.

Yes they charge, As I recall it was in the neighborhood of $20. Given my wife's need to run an o2 machine we have to be where there is electric, so we generally end up paying more than someone able to dry camp.
