The Taos Plaza is the historic center of the town of Taos. Once a Spanish fortified walled plaza, it is now a beautiful collection of wonderful businesses.

My wife and I drove around the plaza while we were in Taos. It was small and a little crowded. After visiting the plaza in Santa Fe we were underwhelmed and decided to move on to the next stop.

It's like a small outdoor type crafts mall. It seems to have lost all of its historic character.
