Learned so much going through this museum. Read everything. Lots of surprising details. Life was tough back then, we take it for granted now. Can see how too much of a good thing caused the end of the good things. Fascinating. The very friendly ladies...More

There is much to learn during a visit to the hacienda. I went on a day when there were only two other people visiting. It made for an excellent visit. It was very quiet allowing me to imagine what life then would have been like.

We spent about an hour here enjoying the very beautiful and quiet location. Exploring the many different rooms and reflecting on how life must have been back in Colonial days was a unique experience.

Lots of reviews say "must see". Go if you have some free time. Interesting but wouldn't plan my day around it.

The kitchen was especially impressive to consider what tasks were accomplished there! Recommend this special place to explore! Travel tip: the narrow,...More
