Stopped off for a quick beer on the 62 and stayed a couple of hours. New owners have turned the place around and while quirky to the non rock lover regardless of your musical persuasion I'm sure you'll love it. Quiet background music when we were there. Lots of love and attention going into the place, friendly staff and management.... More

We wanted to visit on new years eve but were advised they were closed. So we tried again on the second of January.. We were a group of 8 adults and 3 children. When we arrived we were welcomed by the barman/waiter/jack of all trades. Fortunately not too many people were there and we received drinks and placed our meal... More

Stopped off at this great place on the way back to Cape Town. We had a great lunch, the owner came out to see us explaining that he had just taken the place over. Fantastic place and I'm sure it will be a great success!

What a great welcome we recieved when we had a pit stop during our Route 62 trip. Under new management and they made us feel right at home from the moment we stopped till the time came to continue on our road. A little gem with beautiful views.

We decided to stop in on the way back from a day trip to Barrydale. This happened to be only the fourth day since the new owners have taken over. Unpretentious, homely & full of character. We had burgers, lasagne & a Magic Pizza for lunch. Everything was perfectly prepared & exceptionally good value for money. I wish the new... More

What a stunning little place right in the middle of nowhere. Literally. I have passed this GEM of a place on a few occasions, yet never knew what it was all about till I spent two days and a night there with a bunch of biker friends. I thank my friend Lindsay (Bunny) for introducing me to this place. Right... More

We stoped there out of curiosity and found a gem. Although we just had a quick drink I find the place very unique and a great venue for a big occasion. We will return with mates.
