We were fortunate to see cheetahs, twice, and lions, twice. As well as a couple of black-backed jackal, bat-eared fox, giraffe, hippo, elephant and different buck/birds. But but but the animals are small in quantity and the sightings were lacking in quality for us because of this (even though it's high season) and what we coined the "gecko gang" (6... More

We saw so many elephants, giraffe, lions, impala, crocodiles, hippos and many others. The only disappointment in the land portion of the park is that guides are not allowed to go off road, so you must stay on the main road and search out the animals. If you see one you cannot drive closer to get a better view. Otherwise,... More

5 stars. A dense national park with lots of vegetation so finding some animals like lions during wet season may take some time but they are out there. We saw loads of animals over the day. We did the safari by land and boat so we had a chance to appreciate both views of nature and get close to the... More

Lots of rain, yet one sees plenty of elephant's. There is camping sites as well as day tripers. Close to many other game parks too.

The rains were coming soon, but it was still 110 degrees. After leaving my home across a snow covered driveway, I couldn't care less what the temperature was. We tracked lions the first day and have a box lunch with ther safari trucks between us and a herd of elephants. Not bad for day one.

I think Chobe would be a good choice for an easy safari experience. Our Lodge, Muchenje, was only a short drive from the various ways in & we saw animals immediately on entry & along the tarmacked road as well. In fact, they seemed quite blasé about the jeeps which suggests it may get a bit crowded in the high... More

Stayed for 2 nights in the Camping site. Most beautiful surroundings. The ablution block are clean but very primitive. The got staff during the day that keeps it clean. Tranquility all around. The reserve is worth driving around during the day. We went late afternoon and was rewarded with great animal live.
