So many beautiful elephants! We saw the playing, fighting, mud bathing, eating, etc. We saw jackal and the biggest croc ever! The park is full of exotic animals. Not to be missed.

We stayed a couple of nights at the Savute Lodge in the middle of the Savute Reserve. This is the real taste of Africa. Remote, beautiful, full of animals, some different terrains. Great destination if you want to really make the most of Botswana.

Fabulous national park with great animal sightings. I recommend to take a game drive with a lodge's professional guide, they are really amazing to track and identify the animals

Campsite's are large, private with good shade. Abolition facilities are great and always clean. Only negative is that there is no swimming pool. Wonderful stop over between Maun and Kasane.

Lots to see lions, elephants, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, baboons antelopes and lots more. Lots of birds along the river edge. The sunset over the river has to be seen the colours are spectacular.

Depending on the season you will need a real 4x4. During dry season the roads are very heavy sand tracks. The place istself is o.k. - we've seen better ones. But at night I heard two groups of Lions roar close to the camp. Booking...More

Travelling with a Prado, towing a off-road trailer, from Mababe gate to Savuti main camp, was a nightmare. We used the sandridge road as recomended by the officials. Deep sand, high middelman and holes give you a rollercoast ride you won't forget. The exit road...More

We stayed at Savute Safari Lodge and Chobe Game Lodge. Both are part of the Desert and Delta Safaris group, and both were great.
