You need to go once if you are passing near this part of NY. Just cool to be there where it all happened. You can stand and overlook the area where the stage and grassy lawn is. (We jumped the small wooden fence to take...More

A rainy day took us to The Woodstock Museum and I had a great day. You can spend two hours to all day just reliving Woodstock. The videos, displays, history and additional exhibits were great.

Admission fee for seniors is $13.00. Went during the week, hardly anyone there. Takes at minimum 3 hours to see everything. Have seen most of the videos in the past, especially if you saw the movie. Has a neat bus you can sit in and...More

Wow, Man; this was a super groovy museum! It was all about the '60s--the good and the bad--with a separate exhibit predominately about the history of, and happenings at Woodstock. A photographer tells the stories of the news of the times. I found it interesting...More

It is one of those bucket list place to visit. The weather was miserable, so imagine what it was when the rains came. The museum and the staff were great. Everyone remembers Woodstock but don't realize the concert was held here.

Such a nice museum. It is very much away in the countryside, but it is worth it. The drive is also very nice, through the Catskills. The museum has a variety of exhibits and placards that detail Woodstock, music of the era, Civil Rights, and...More

Brought it all back! You can overlook the original stage site and walk down the road to "the lake"! Made me feel a lot older!!

The museum is everything you ever wanted to know about Woodstock. There is a magic school bus in the museum and movies playing in many different rooms. Many pictures displayed. Love the room with the screen on the ceiling and you sit on bean bags!

Not much singular to recommend. The place has a broad overview of a (perhaps?) overdone history. Some relatively entertaining photos and such, but without a particular scholarship.
