I was really impressed with how long the carousel ride was. I loved how old it is and the history behind it, I also loved that you can see the machine playing the music and doing the drums... very fascinating.

Like the new play ground they put in. My kids enjoyed playing there. The park has wooden instruments. Well shades.

Wonderful to see the old carousel still in operation. Has been there for years and it is a joy to visit when we're in town.

The carousels are only open until Labor Day unless they have a special event. Last year (2015) The Recreation Park Carousel had a winter event for a few weekends around Christmas time.
