Visited the park with the kids for a day out. First time there we just brought a picnic lunch and some chairs and blanket. There was a nice playground, barbecuing and bicycling allowed. Seamed peaceful. We plan to return.

Safe, friendly environment. The bathrooms were relatively clean and accessible. You may have to hike if your group is setup away from the parking lot. They can definitely use more parking or relax the rules for parking on the street, on the weekends.
