With far too much time on my hands and having always been curious about this particular outlet mall for years, I finally ventured to Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets on a cold, winter day. I found it to be well worth the drive, but just noting some items: • Arrive early. There were a lot of people looking for parking spots during the early/mid afternoon and lines to get into certain stores were considerably longer. It started sleeting in the middle of the day and it absolutely did not deter the crowds. • Be strategic! Figure out what stores you want to go to and where they are because there is a lot to see here! Either print out the map (PDF version available on the website) or view it on your phone so you don’t walk around in circles. • I noticed a lot of buyers in line at 11am with suitcases when stores opened (yep, stores opening later due to COVID) because they are buying items here and re-selling online. Hit your favorite stores first before others snag up the merchandise. • You’ll be walking a lot. Wear comfortable shoes. There were benches outside, but given the weather conditions lunch provided the only opportunity to sit down. • Eat during “off” hours. A few of the eateries weren’t open during COVID and there were either long lines during lunch time (Shake Shack) or limited seating (Market Hall – i.e. the food court.) And unless I overlooked something, there aren’t a whole lot of eating options nearby the center either. I saw a Dunkin’ Donuts on the way in, but that was it. • Come with an open mind. You won’t find an “it” bag here or current season clothes (e.g. I went in Feb 2021; items were from FW 2020 or FW 2019), but it definitely wasn’t the leftover/junk merchandise either. Said another way, it you are looking to find a specific pair of Nike tennis shoe, you’ll be disappointed, but there is a lot of great merchandise here to peruse. I've been to other outlets in the US and seen a lot of rubbish; selection here was significantly better. • Don’t bother waiting in the bathroom line at Market Hall. There are lots of restrooms throughout the center. • You were able to try on clothes in most stores, but not all. If not, just be like others where you buy it and try it on in one of the nearby restrooms. • All stores required guests to use hand sanitizer before being able to touch any of the merchandise.…

To FRETTE: I don't even know where to begin. I had a HORRIFIC experience at your Woodbury location today. Your employees whom you chose to represent your brand and name, in addition to being the face of the company, would be expected that you chose wisely. Your employees at this location - Tony and Jess are everything other than what employees of a company like yours should be. Rude is the first word that comes to mind, impolite is the second, the incredible lack of customer service skills and etiquette are immediately apparent. I waited 40 minutes outside (while there were only 2 customers in your store) to come into your store from out of town. Your employee Tony, when I attempted to ask her how long the wait would be, slammed the door in my face and would not let me in. When l knocked - she decided that it was appropriate to show her tremendous attitude and inform me that would not be letting me into the store - when I told her that I would contact corporate, she sarcastically responded that they are in the office today (Jan 1). Tony went on and got Jess, Jess decided to let the 5 people in behind me in. These 2 employees acted as if they are your CEO's and COO's - not only will I not be coming back to this store. I will also stop buying Frette products from other retailers. I suggest you invest more into HR procedures, go through better meticulous selection and training of your employees. These two, decided it was appropriate to treat a customer like animals. Now I look at your brand with disgust - as it is not only the product but also the service. To Future customers: If you want to be treated like garbage, this is your go to destination :) Ask for Tony and Jess to help you out :)…

Went to Woodbury in May 2018. Easy to get there via bus from port authority and stops right outside. Great when weather is nice but can imagine it would be cold in winter. Plenty of shops for everyone and you’ll probably need around 6 to 7 hours including 3 hrs travelling time. Also hire one of the trolleys for all your shopping, it’s much easier and saves your back…

It’s good to see people supporting the economy and spending the unemployment checks lol. Most popular stores mainly athletic wear and luxury brands have at least an hour wait on line. Nike, lululemon, Prada, Gucci, Dolce and Balanciaga. I like the shake shack burgers and the Columbia clothing store. Nice staff at Nike store, thank you!!!…
