Desperately needs improvement

It is amazing to me that a seasonal restaurant can establish and maintain such high standards. My affection for Chautauqua is enhanced in knowing I can have an outstanding experience at RBF for lunch or dinner - every time. By now, I believe that I have tried everything on the menu and while I have favorites, it is al excepional.

This started with great effort, well done structures including beautiful landscaping. This has dwindled over the years and is now a sad shadow of what had been or could have been. They need to seriously consider trying to revitalize this. ??new direction. We enjoy visits but fewer & fewer stores & merchandise makes it MUCH LESS ATTRACTIVE. Too bad😫

Wonderful quaint place to shop. Has nice restaurant attached to property. We stop here each year. It is located in an old barn and has lots of charm. Fun to wonder and spend an hour or two.

Set in a barn, the Red Brick Marketplace specializes in miniatures and dollhouses. It provides a exciting array of choices for shoppers interested in both of these with some beautiful displays. The dollhouses are particularly interesting in a town with the Chautauqua Institution just down the road with its center filled with Victorian houses on narrow streets. There is sure... More

Many shops were empty, no inventory. The miniature shop was okay to browse in but the staff was very unfriendly. Not a child friendly place at all. Not worth a stop especially if you need to use a restroom. Keep on driving!

Next door to La fleur Restaurant. All kinds of interesting and local gifts. Just North of Chautauqua Institution.

We stopped by at 10 am when all the stores were supposed to be open on a Friday. We waited in the hot sun because there was no shady area until 10:20 and no one was there to open the stores. The miniatures store was open, but the woman there was too busy on the phone to acknowledge our presence.... More
