The exterior is so typical of the classic period. Unfortunately I was unable to go inside as there seemed to be some sort of practise going on.

Unusually squat edifice - if it had no walls it might be called a follie, which is not a criticism. Inside, the pre-existing interior is staunch box pews (with side doors) - I think it's aesthetically safe to remove those doors - and little decoration....More

We could not go inside due to refurbishment of the interior. The view was amazing. A friend had said his wedding was there. It would be a lovely place for a wedding.

We were married at the Chapel this November (2016). The Chapel sits right on the banks of the Hudson, and is truly spectacular. The inside is totally unique, with bucket pews from the 1800's and a chandelier of real candles. Everything about it is breathtaking!...More

Once a month they have free concerts (donation accepted), often classical. The setting is on the Hudson in a Chapel. One drawback: it gets very hot in the summer with no ventilation despite open windows & no fans, so it can be quite stifling for...More

Nice older chapel building with a great review of the river. Close to the train station and kayaking/paddle boarding if you're inclined to do that sort of thing.
