A simple but really touching memorial to the brave and fearless service people who protected our land, well worth a visit if you are within a few miles of Lisset. Don’t forget to take a memorial poppy to say thank you to the fallen.

Touching tribute to the air and ground crew from RAF Lisset. Well positioned by the roadside with a parking lay by. Board full of interesting details. Nearby wind turbines named after Halifax bombers and lost ground crew. Well worth a visit,

Well worth stopping and looking at the memorial especially when the sun is shining on it. It makes you think about how it must have been in the war as there were several airfields in the area and the airmen who served in the RAF....More
