We visited the Park in mid August as a family as it was a short drive to our accommodation. The site is well signed posted and the single track roads well maintained. There are various signed walks/treks that are signed from a number of points...More

This campground is very dirty. If it wasn't for the close proximity to the water and beautiful views I would have given it a terrible review. The ticks are CRAZY!!!! They are everywhere!!!!!!!!

We fell in love with Cedar Point County Park because of its natural beauty. The park is a hidden gem for sure with miles of remote beach along the peninsula and an old lighthouse at the tip of it. Beautiful views of the bay and...More

I love this place, it has such a great beach. Especially for the kids. Unfortunately the family that ran the kitchen retired so its currently empty. But the camping spaces are nice, wooded, and private. The views of the beach and light house amazing. I...More

We were enjoying a peaceful nature hike through the forest on the winding trials when 5 wild turkeys ran across our path. The kids loved it! We even had time to snap a few pics as the birds kept crossing our path throughout the 3...More

Thinly thing you might hear is a seagull or a fish jump. Oh, the lapping of the waves. My S.O. and I have come to love anchoring off this park for a night away from Sag Harbor and the craziness of The Hamptons. The place...More

Went camping here with a big group of people. Site was large and all of them are nice from what I saw. The water and beach all around is a plus. Bathrooms decent and as clean as you can expect from a county park. Staff...More

Not difficult at all. The road through the campsite goes right down to the water. You will have to go back and park your car though in the campsite.

Not sure about individual sites but if you have seven parties or more the group sites are great. Site A is the closest to the beach.
