Overview
More
Located in East Marion NY, Lavender by the Bay has been growing the highest quality lavender on Long Island for more than 15 years. We offer seasonal fresh cut bunches, dried lavender, lavender plants, lavender sachets and crafts, and honey from our own beehives. During our blooms there is an entry fee into the fields. This fee goes towards the upkeep and preservation of the beauty, form, and peaceful nature of our farm. On weekends and national holidays, the fee is $9 per person to enter the fields , of which $1 is donated to a local charity. During the week, the fee is $6 per person. The lavender is typically in bloom mid/late June through mid-July, but is ultimately up to Mother Nature.

this place was pretty but it was $8 to get in and considering it is a lavender farm they were more expensive than local farm stands.

What’s in a name? WELL in my own naïveté, I expected to see fabulous oceans of waiving purple delight. What I saw, could have been replicated at the local Home Depot Garden Center. The ride out there was really amazing however. Anyone who has never...More

Our family enjoys the beauty and aroma of the fields, the gorgeous natural wood crafted pavilion, and the eloquent farm shop. Their large field is divided up by 80,000 stunning plants of different varieties of English & French Lavender–including Purple Bouquet, Melissa, Grosso, Hidcote Giant,...More

I absolutely love lavender! I also absolutely love Lavender By The Bay! It’s become a mother/daughter tradition for us. This year was our 3rd visit. I drive from Maryland and my daughter comes from NYC. We spend a couple nights in Montauk and a couple...More

We were very pleased with our visit. It certainly was a lot less expensive than flying to France!😂🤣

Went with friends on a Monday- close to full bloom. The aroma is magnificent. Guessing it was not overcrowded due to the day of the week. There was a lot of picture taking. That seems to be the main activity. We did some of that...More

It’s well worth a drive to see and smell the lavender fields when they are in bloom. The English lavender had just been cut when we visited but the French lavender was in full bloom. There is an admission, depending on the day of the...More

We went during full lavender bloom. Fee was $9 per adult and over 12. The lavender farm is huge and you can take a long time walking around enjoying the scent. You can’t pick lavender yourself but you can buy bushels for as low as...More

Though lavender is pretty and aromatic, $9.00 per adult is a lot, kids are free, but parking was also uber tight. Cops directing traffic for a lavender field is interesting.
