My husband and I went in to do the wine tasting and it was great! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. You may also purchase a glass of wine (they also have a berry cider) and sit at the seats by the window to relax. Try the sparkling Riesling, it was fantastic! Overall, very friendly, welcoming, great decor, and... More

Me and the wife stopped in with some friends during a outing at EVL. Did the tasting, they have a big variety of wines and are very knowledgeable. Great little spot.

We enjoyed a tasting, 6 wines of our choosing for $5. Everything was at least ok, and some were really very good. It was quite busy at noon and our very pleasant server apologized a couple of times, unnecessarily. The bar is standing only and there are two small tables with two chairs each. I enjoyed learning the history of... More

We visited with our son and his wife who are members of their club, So we got our tastings for free. The server was very friendly, very helpful, and very funny. Wide selection of wines, some of them quite good.

Stopped in Ellicottville on a drive through Western New York--charming town and worth a walk around, even if you aren't there to ski or golf. Saleswoman was very helpful and patient with all my questions. They buy their grapes, so have no vineyard, but the winery is right on the premises.

I wanted to come here since I love the Ellicottville area, and we had promised family wine from the vacation. We had a great time and walked out with 14 bottles! Our hostess helped us with recommendations for ourselves, as well as for the family gifts. I like wine on the sweeter side, so the EVL Blue was perfect for... More

They had a nice mix of samples. We live in the Finger Lakes area where most wineries put your tasting fee towards your purchase, but not here. I still left with 2 bottles.

Back story: we are trying to broaden our wine preferences and think that tastings is an excellent way of doing this. We believe it would be most helpful if the wineries employed people who are willing to help newbies like ourselves discover new wines and expand our knowledge. This was not the place to go for that experience. She gave... More

We stopped here on a trip through western New York. A good selection of white and red wines. I enjoyed the EVL red and white- reasonable prices for a good table wine. Nice staff!

We wandered in so my wife can have a taste. It was 5 dollars to sample the wines which I didn't think was that bad. The staff took the time to really go through the selections with us and very accurate in describing her wines and what to expect. My wife really enjoyed the overall experience, and ended up leaving... More
