All my kids have loved visiting the LI Children's Museum

Okay so our 17 year or 14 year old won't be excited if we say we are heading out to the Children's Museum but any kid under 10 probably would. It is a fun, local place to do... read more

Okay so our 17 year or 14 year old won't be excited if we say we are heading out to the Children's Museum but any kid under 10 probably would. It is a fun, local place to do something different. Want to play with giant bubbles, sand, climb around a three story maze, learn about sound and music or the... More

I could've spent a day here. We visited today for the first time kids 9 & 15. I thought only my little one would enjoy it, but it has so many things to do together and with her brother that time flew. We arrived at 2:30pm fast ticket line, a place to hang coats on the entrance, close free parking... More

This is a GREAT museum!! No matter how many times we come, our grandchildren keep wanting to come back. One of the highlights is definitely the bubbles!

We have been to LICM for a day visit multiple times and have always loved it. So it was our first choice when looking for a place to celebrate our 5 year old's birthday. They have multiple choices for party themes and the party helpers were amazingly energetic and really kept the party going and all the kids engaged! A... More

We went on a very crowded holiday rainy weekday. Despite being crazy crowded like Times Square, patrons were civil and polite. Lunchroom left much to be desired as vending machines housed the only purchasable food and most of the choices were unhealthy and toddler tantrum-inducing fare like soda and ice cream Popsicles. PACK YOUR OWN LUNCH! Or you WILL be... More

Good morning, Sally - Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. Happy to hear KEVA was a family favorite! I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed in the vending machine options and appreciate your feedback. I’d like to share that we offer several healthy choices in the refrigerated machine including yogurt, sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit and milk as... More

We were visiting our family in NY and wanted to go someplace with our grandkids. This is a fun place for everyone with so many things for the kids to do. It is a hands on museum where they can climb, build, play and learn. You can bring your own food and eat in their cafeteria where they have a... More

I can surely say that the long island children's museum is really a great place for parents and their young children can come and spend quite an entire day and enjoy the many things they have there ,if I remember one of the employees heard telling his mother "this is more than just a children's museum -this is fun"!Rhonda Bienes

I was babysitting my niece's and nephew during the winter break and was looking for a place to go to get rid of some of their"extra"energy! They had a blast! I had just as much fun as they did. They loved the bubble area and the building area. Great day was had by all Strongly recommend.
