This is a large expanse of beach about a 30-minute, moderately-difficult bike ride from town. There's a small restaurant & bar at the base of the beach. Great place to go for an afternoon. Swimming is not recommended thought because the surf is very rough most times of the year.

Sensational swimming spot, surrounded by island magic. From the vanilla pods, coconuts and local fish and eateries, this is the ons to see. Enjoy your tanning and take enough water. Please also visit the local restaurant, the fish is delicious and brillinatly spiced with a chilled wine. Enjoy you lucky fish!

This beach is really worth the effort to get there ,a hot bike ride. Beautiful beach, wonderful clean white sand like talcum powder and fantastic blue, clear water. The day we were there the waves were very large and currant was very strong so not good to swim in. But to look at was stunning. There was no real shade on... More

The waves are quite high and undercurrents could be a problem for the less able to swim. There is no shelter from the hot sun but a restaurant does provide a good meal.

Yes, couldn't be bothered to rent the rip of bikes. Just a shame we only had one day for La Digue. There are plenty more beaches to be discovered.

White sand, huge waves, the rocks and the beach are stunning. A small beach restaurant is located here.

As others have commented, the waves on Grand Anse are big and the current strong. In addition, there is not much shade. That said, the sand is like powder and the setting is simply stunning. The restaurant has an outdoor shower which they rent out for 2 Euro. It is an easy bike ride to access the beach. Well worth... More

This is the most beautiful beach we have ever visited! Definitely must see if you are visiting Seychelles. It is so nice, reading another reviews I have to admit that it was wavy but that was not issue for us. Just perfect, a real paradise!

Nice beach with big waves. It's at the end of the Island. It was long trip on a bike with some little mountain road. On the road there is 2 shops where you can buy fresh fruit juices.
