One terrific, smaller museum. I expected, just planes, and they offer a whole lot more. Lots of planes, bikes, cars and military artifacts. The reconstruction of the P-40 is interesting to watch. The staff is devoted and they love their jobs.

It took us a few hours to get thru this gem of a museum, well worth the time and admission fee. My daughter works at Boeing, and her boyfriend fixes motorcycles, we'll have to bring them next time, they'd love it!

What a well done adventure through history! We loved seeing the old bikes, planes and boats (and the flying boats!)!! Our group ranged in age from 9 to 72 and each of us had a great time exploring. It was extra special that they were...More

This is an excellent and important museum, great for kids and grown-ups. A truly historic collection of planes, cars and motorbikes (and much more), well displayed and curated, on the site of the first private airfield in the USA. A real bit of Americana in...More

This museum has something for everyone. There are more exhibits and displays with a close up look than anyone I have ever been to. They have some transportation displays that I do not know if you will find anywhere. just a fun good time.

Great for families, children and history buffs. You can spend a day here and not see it all. Glenn Curtiss may have been the first to fly. He was a genius. See the P-40 Warhawk fighter being renovated. Great autos and incredible airplanes of all...More

We visited the Glenn Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport, NY during a motor trip through the Finger Lakes mid-September. That’s post summer and pre-leaf peeping time. So it’s a good time to visit this area to avoid the traffic and crowds. The museum which looks small...More

I enjoyed my visit to this surprisingly large collection of aircraft and artifacts. Clearly the place has remained a labor of love for several generations of Curtiss enthusiasts. My only regret is that there wasn’t a brief overview of his life and work near the...More
