Loved this museum! It's great for anyone into mechanized transportation. And they have a ton of planes, motorcycles, cars, boats, and more to see. Plan on spending several hours here. You will enjoy all of it--as will the kids.

See a historic and wonderful collection of wonderful planes, boats, bikes, and other inventions and memorabilia, gathered by a great Man and his lifelong work and vision, under one roof.

We have lived in the area for over 20 years, and this was our first visit, but it won't be our last. The museum is packed with Curtiss motorcycles and planes, but also with other things made in the area. It is a varied collection, and is very well done for a small town museum. We will be bringing our... More

Well worth the excursion there, reasonably priced, extremely nice female occupying the entrance desk, excellent bathroom facilities, extremely informative with even a theater and renovation area. If one is in the area they should make this a MUST VISIT! It is extremely informative with certain areas being hands on as far as hats or jackets go to give one the... More

We planned a fall visit this year to visit family living in the Finger Lakes region. Happy to say we had numerous fun adventures exploring this beautiful area, enjoying the gorgeous fall colors, visiting museums, restaurants and meeting lots of friendly folks. With everyone's busy work and school schedule, we planned time to visit the Glen Curtis Air Museum on... More

A visit to the Glen Curtis Air Museum is like taking a step back in aviation history. There are many airplanes on display including the first seaplane and flying boat. Mr. Curtis trained the first Navy pilots and is considered the "Father of Naval Aviation". There are many other early 1900 era airplanes on display as well as antique boats... More

We had a terrific guide in one of the people who had helped restore to working condition some of the various planes and other artifacts on view. He was extremely knowledgeable. There are many interesting things on view, I could have happily spent more time there.

I was mostly impressed with the information on Glenn Curtiss. The other "stuff" jammed into the museum did not involve Glenn Curtiss and speed - stuff like typewriters, dollhouses, etc. If you can overlook the extra clutter, this is an outstanding representation of Glenn Curtiss and all he did for aviation. I highly recommend it and plan to spend hours... More
