Dr. Frank's is the pioneering winery that first successfully grew European varieties in the northeastern US. They remain a small, family-owned business that is clearly dedicated to viticulture and educating its customers. Tastings here are FREE (the only one we came across during our tour...More

Only cared for one of the five wines I sampled. Service was adequate. Tried to be elite and not as personable.

I still like CA. and Italian wines. They treat you nice and present the wines in a casual atmosphere. Nice view of Lake from a high. Do it....you judge the wines.

Dr. Frank is my favorite winery in the finger lakes (and I've been to quite a few). Tastings are always free, the staff is tremendously knowledgeable, and the wines are top notch. The view overlooking Keuka lake isn't bad either. If you're near Hammondsport make...More

A trip to Konstantin Frank's winery is a history lesson in NYS winemaking. We learned his role in developing the modern grapes that thrive in the area. And, the tasting was enjoyable, too.

Yes but don’t Allie inside the winery unless guide dogs. They have outside seating and will serve you there, if a weekend should do in advance call and arrange. During the week will make it work.

The folks at the tasting gave us the names of two local restaurants which were excellent for dinner or lunch. Ask the vineyard folks because I can't remember the names.....
