Walked about 6 miles around a nice lake in this park. Cool trail, clearly marked. Lots of people with dogs. It was a bit nippy when we went but must be really beautiful once the weather gets nice. Highly recommend for a good relaxing workout.

Resident of smithtown area but have not been here in years. Place is really nice. Great walking trails. I would give it five stars I am dropping one as I hear that in season they charge 15 dollars to get in. Off-season is free
Take a walk, bring the dog, watch the wildlife, kayak in the lake and all just steps from Vets Hwy. It's not exactly a secret spot but it is never crowded which is terrific but also a shame more people don't take advantage of it.
Blydenburgh Pary has lots to offer but has been affected by mosquito issues for years. The campground is a great local getaway but has very little usage because of the insect scare. The recent rip to Blydenburh was to get a Suffolk park pass.
