Great park, dog friendly in certain areas. Dogs are not allowed by the picnic area. You can take you dog by the lake and enjoy the scenery. I plan on going back in the fall to see the fall foliage by the lake.

It's a big park, has various activities, some free and some not, has different courts for use (i.e., basketball, tennis, bocce), has a real golf course, lake, many walking trails and parking.

A light snowfall made the park glisten with white snow. The paths were covered with a light dusting that made them sublime. Driving through the roadways were clear and passable. The water was magnificent to gaze upon as the chill filled the air.

$8 parking fee, cash only, no cards. $2 for carousel ride, and it's a seemingly longer ride than most carousels. Bathroom nearby, although I don't recall seeing changing table in men's room. Nice shaded, clean grassy areas for picnics, and playground has nice, soft, spongy...More

I think it is still $8 for parking for one vehicle and it is free to walk or bike in.
