Son played junior football here, walked the dog here and watched fireworks. A great place to take the kids and worthwhile baseball fields.

The park is great. There are a bunch of different sport fields as well as two different play grounds. There are picnic tables as well. We often combine our trip to the library with the park in warmer months of yhe year.

What is a decent Park, but there was a lot of construction to the entrance and I didn't happen to see anything related to Veterans. But lots of ball fields and picnic areas and even a playground for kids.

Unfortunately, just missed Lilac Festival. Very colorful and just an enjoyable walk. Nice amphitheater, Veterans Memorial. Foliage tagged to help you identify. Nice plus.
