We took the 90 minute tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the Academy. We learned about the history of the academy and some of the people who shaped that history, especially General Douglas MacArthur and General Dwight Eisenhower. On the day we visited there was an organ concert which was a very special treat. We walked in the... More

Will have to be credentialed to be allowed onto the base; have proper documents and papers. Looks like Hog Warts; huge and detailed brick buildings. Rich history and oldest continuously stationed garrison in the country. Largest single stone building. Largest pipe organ in the country. Tour gives some history and basic overview. If possible check museum, hotel and eat at... More

This tour is a great overview if you have never been to West Point. I really liked the tour of the chapel stop. We also ended at the parade field during the lunch formation. West Point is so beautiful!

I not really looking forward to this tour, did it as a birthday present for my husband who is into the military and history. But, from beginning to end the tour guide made everything smooth, easy and informative. We did the 2 hour tour and found the cemetery to be well worth the additional time. Our tour guide was not... Interesting tour of our nation's historic military college. This tour provided an insight into the history and current traditions of West Point. It contains both a bus tour and walking. However, the walking is not that long or strenuous. The tour guide was low key but passionate and made sure we learned and saw many items of interest. He made... More

I had the day to drive the Hudson Valley with a visit to West Point and Franklin Roosevelt's Presidential Library. West Point is a must see and overflowing with history beginning in the revolution and through every war or conflict up to today. Our Guild was very good know her points very well. Even better she could answer any question.... More

The tour was very informative. Our guide did a good job of explaining all the sites we visited. The chapel was beautiful and the views from the cliff were magnificent.

If you go to West Point this is a must. to get the most out of your visit. Most informative, excellent scenery, every stop makes you want to return on your own and explore more. If you do not have three days to explore on your own the 2 hour tour (which includes the cemetery) is an absolute must. EXCELLENT... More

Stopping at West Point was a compromise... in exchange for my husband and my two teenage sons (14 and 18) agreeing to tour FDR's homestead in Hyde Park, NY, I agreed that the same trip could include a tour of West Point. I was surprised that I found it as interesting as they did! Our guide was wonderful, telling lots... More
