Nice and peaceful place. Stayed there for two nights on a trip from Zanzibar to Victoria Falls. Helpful staff and well travelled owner.

I could not recommend this place anymore. The staff are unbelievably helpful with anything we can ask for. Free use of paddle boards and catamaran is an added bonus. Good food and good company all at a great price. Will definitely be visiting again.

A really nice place still unspoiled
Dec. 2018 • Family
A nice Long Beach completely unspoiled and a few ‘western style’ amenities. I am
Not sure why the entry of 2000 kwa is required, but apart from this worth the trip

Lovely Beach
Dec. 2017 • Friends
Spent 2 nights camping here with a large group and I must say it was quite Lovely. We had an all white themed Salsa party which was a lot of fun . The bar is lovely however I feel it closes a bit early at 11 pm. The facility is very clean which is a plus for me especially when camping .

Disappointing
Dec. 2017 • Couples
Was looking forward to it but we experienced terrible service from the bar man. The beach is nice. And the horses were bautiful. Lots of lizards and snakes in the camping area though. But very calm and chilled. Oh they have a sign that says they can kick you out after 6pm or is it 530pm if you not a resident... *insert shocked emoji*

Nice beach

It's a quite and lovely place along lake malawi. The is a good bar and a very attractive beach. But what caught my eye was a long dry tree with different things curved on it. It's a very good piece of art.

Avoid Aquanuts Divers - a terrible dive experience.
Jul. 2016 • Solo
I write this review 6 months after having attended Aquanuts dive center, so I hope the reader understands this is not a rant, but rather a well reasoned warning. Half a year later, my experiences at Aquanuts were so horrible, I feel it is necessary to say something; to ensure you do not make the same mistake as I did.

Aquanuts at Kande Beach rendered one of the worst diving experiences in my life to date. I signed up for their rescue diver course and the dive center’s manager, Justin, had the dive instructor teach me most the course on the first day in very rough water conditions that had zero visibility. Little of the modules could be taught or absorbed effectively in such conditions, due to the crashing waves, heavy winds and strong currents. During study, both my fins came off due to being tossed around by the rough waters. Upon returning to the dive center, he charged me for them without negotiation. His poor business ethic and uncaring customer service is reflected by his threats to kick me out of his dive center if I did not pay immediately - end of discussion. Additionally, he made these threats right after I had made the electronic payment for the course, without offering me any alternative. This left me stuck in an uncomfortable position, where I was forced to complete the course at a dive center where I no longer felt welcome, from a service provider I found to be unprofessional and of poor temperament. The only other choice I had was to leave prematurely without completing the course, after having made full payment.

Justin’s main interests in running the dive shop are to help fund his research, so as a service provider, he is not interested in ensuring you a good stay. Consequently, if you choose to use his services, you may find yourself regretting choosing his dive center over all the other available options for exploring Lake Malawi. It is my hope that if you read this, you will instead go to Aqua Africa in Nkhata Bay, or to one of the other dive centers near Monkey Bay. I am positive the management and services provided will be much more professional. From my own experiences, I would advise you to avoid Aquanuts dive center, and its manager, Justin, especially.
