The park fee is good for 24 hrs. On our first night there we stayed outside the park but bought a ticket the day before which lasted for 24 hrs: we also saw sunset and sunrise and its worth it to see both.

Google Sossusvlei Dune Map and you should find a map of the dune area. Its a massive area that will take you over one hour to drive from one end to the other. You would probably need at least two days but depends on your level of interest for landscape. Deadvlei itself will take you 3 hours minimum I would say
