Definitely worth a visit to the hot springs. We camped in the well established campsite; there is a fully inclusive lodge with pool and spa (great back massage!)

After the excitement of Buffalo Camp in North Luangua it was lovely to relax and enjoy the peace and calm of Kalpisha. It is a truly relaxing lodge with the most magical garden and of course the hot springs to soothe body and soul. Mark and Mel are the most welcoming and entertaining of hosts, who went out of their... More

Wonderful camping and the hot springs are a real surprise and well worth staying at Kapishya. The camping area is right on a river and provides secluded and shady camping for those on a lower budget.

We went in May this year. Had the best experience ever. The rooms are cozy and the views is lovely. The hot springs are so magical, feel like staying there whole day. The food is fairly good. We spent 2 overnight stays here, to break up the 12 hour drive from Ndola, where we were living, to Lake Tanganyika, which we were visiting. Like many places, it has good points and not so good points, so, what was good? The reception by Tony, who was the caretaker manager when we visited, was excellent. Indeed, he could not... More

My son (a Peace Corps Volunteer) and I visited Mark & Mell at this must visit paradise! Undoubtedly, unless you charter a flight from Lusaka, make sure you stay at least 3 nights at Kapishya to relax and pamper yourself, for the road trip is a bit long - but totally worth it! Every aspect of the Hot Springs is... More

We spent 3 nights camping near the rivers edge, relaxing in the hot springs, set in a tropical oais. Late afternoon we would enjoy sundowners by the rivers edge which is not far from the rustic bar, restaurant & pool. The campsite has a botanic feel to it with shelters & brais. The amenities are clean & basic. The restaurant serves up... More

We spent a couple days in the chalet with some friends and our youngsters. What a relaxing and amazing place. Excellent attentive staff with fantastic natural surroundings. The hot springs were an added spectacle to wash away the day to day stress from the city. Definitely worth experiencing.
