You may not be able to ski Hunter in August, but you can climb it - 9 mile loop to the summit and the tower. Views are incredible but this is a tough climb - 2000' elevation gain and a rocky, muddy 9 mile loop....More

Took the chairlift to the top of the mountain. It was a clear summer day. You could see as far as the Berkshires. Mountains all around and beautiful clean crisp air. The only negative was that there was a wedding going on and they would...More

The best time to go to Hunter is either during the week or on Sunday. Getting in first runs makes great sense. Thus mountain has a plethora of diverse runs and has enough expert runs to satisfy good skiers and a good beginner mountain.

We came here just for the Skyride. We have never been skiing or that high up a mountain. The view was wonderful and the lift was well-maintained. Certainly worth the 30 minute drive for us. Recommended.

We were at hunter mountain for the both 2017 and 2018 taste of country music festivals, the grounds were well maintained and the services provided well well staffed

Had a pretty good time only downside were the long lines but overall fun time. The skyride was a good experience, a bit scary but worth it.

We went up the chair lift and did a bit of hiking. The view was OK, but not that riveting. Lots of bugs and the hiking trails weren't particularly interesting. All in all, we could have skipped it.

Happy with the conditions and type of terrain. Good selection of food and drinks. Would be a good family mountain too.
