We were on a two week road trip and our next stop was Springfield Armory, MA. My brother-in-law suggested stopping at this museum, knowing that we were interested in historical arms. I knew in advance that this would be a small museum, however, it does...More

Interesting but small. It's basically on room and a little store. Still fun and worth the trip since it was free to enter.

Have been there a couple times. It is always interesting to go thru the building. It also shows some of the other products they have manufactured over the years.

It's a shame they had to stop the factory tours and move some production out of New York. Exhibits are neat and there is a nice gift shop for souvenirs and some good buys and freebies. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. Plenty of free parking.

Hubby loved the museum (wish it was bigger) and then we went to the store. It is small but packed with clothing, accessories, interesting gifts and memorbelia I know I can't find anywhere else!
