This paved trail is beautiful. There are quite a lot of steps but it is worth the effort. It was within walking distance from our hotel.

You can either take an uphill walk west to east ending near the College Town Bagels or a downhill trip the other way. The waterfalls are amazing, and the fragrance from trees and flowers is wonderful during our visit, which is late June. Be prepared...More

Absolutely beautiful! It’s a relatively short hike but with non-stop views. Just a note that there are a lot of steps. Loved it!

It's amazing to have opportunity to see such a beautiful trail in my way to the campus. I always feel so grateful for these contact with the nature in the middle of an urban area. Ithaca has awesome places <3

We hiked this beautiful trail over the long holiday weekend and had a wonderful time. The water and the trail reminded us a bit of Watkin's Glen, although you stay a little drier on this walk. The trail going from the bottom to the top...More

Especially after the prior evening’s torrential rains the Cascadilla Gorge Trail was particularly impressive with raging white water along the several steep drops and more gentle rapids where flatter. Cool and shaded (with a few bugs), the walk is best accessed from Stewart Street in...More

Breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend doing what I did, which is inserting this in my walk from Cornell to downtown. You can walk the trail, going mostly downhill, and it spits you out just a couple of blocks from downtown. This means you don't have...More

We went on April 7th at 8:30am and the trail was closed off by a gate. I’m assuming they closed the trail because it was iced over. Was really looking forward to hiking this trail. You can see the falls from behind the gate. There’s...More
