This is a great little hike...right in the middle of town. When you are in the gorge, it's hard to believe there is a busy town right above you. A nice escape from a stressful day.

Great walk with mild elevation changes up to College Town. It's in a residential area with limited on street parking right at the entrance. Be sure to feed any meters during business hours.

If you start at the bottom of the gorge you walk up stirs along the water and end up at Cornell University at the top. From there you can continue to walk along the water through the woods/Cornell campus and eventually go to the Cornell...More

Not sure when the maintenance will be done. But this is an easy scenic trail with a bunch of waterfalls. Well worth it.

We ate lunch Collegetown Bagels and then hiked down the trail back to our hotel in town. Starting from this point, it was mostly downhill.

On center of city, easy to access, but need some time to find parking place. Worth to visit again. We did not finish the route, better to do that on late afternoon.

This hike is not long but it is steep! We did not go far but the short distance we did was simply gorgeous. Or "gorges" as they say in Ithaca.

If you are in Ithaca and you don't do this hike, you are missing out. Its not that long and it is Very scenic. 5 year old tackled it no problem.

The nice thing about this gorge is that you can easily just stand on the bridge and see the first waterfall and admire it without ever going on the trail. But do go on the trail, as the other waterfalls are equally as lovely and...More

You might prefer hiking down rather than uphill, but that is your voice of course. About 1/2 mile; you might want to check any GPS app for a more accurate estimate.

I did see dogs on leashes— with humans holding the leashes.
