On Saturday April 8, we went to the Sherwood house as we've done in the past usually during winter months as this winery is small, cozy and has a fireplace. We did our usual packing of fancy snacks as this is one of the only wineries that allows you to bring in your own food. Then made the 1 hour... More

Small and less commercial than many others. The outdoor seating leaves something to be desired. We enjoyed the tastings--shared both a white and red flight. Most of the wines were good. Staff was very friendly.

Drove 11 hours from Toronto area, checked in at Duncan's Inn next door and walked into the winery just as a guitar player hit a chord on his acoustic guitar! Sat down at a rustic wood table, ordered a 2010 Merlot (yes in 2016!) which was AMAZING!! 2010 was THE year for reds in the North Fork. A perfect start... More

The tasting room is small, with no air conditioning, and the grounds lack any real character. The wine is of the table variety at best. There is an attached art exhibit of local artists which was quite nice.

Stopped by the Sherwood House for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Tastefully rustic look, comfortable and inviting. We were delighted with the art gallery , some beautiful paintings. The wine tasting was better than others. Would definitely return .

My wife and I visited Sherwood House for the first time on Wednesday, 7/13, on the strong recommendation of Darolyn and Chris at the Harvest Inn. As always, they steered us in the right direction. As soon as we entered, Maryann, the Tasting Room Manager, welcomed us warmly and urged us to make ourselves at home. And the tasting area... More

I drink them quite often when I go to the Sea Cove in Center Moriches as they too are from that town and supply their wines to local restaurants. That's how I found out about them before going to their vineyard. Great wine, tasted on a defensive driving class break as they were close by when stuck taking on a... More

This was the last stop on our vineyard run - I loved the ambiance - it was warm and inviting and very eclectic. The house consisted of 4 or 5 small rooms each decorated in a different fashion and had seating in each, it was very nice. The bar area had a working fireplace with a couch and some tables... More
