The walk around the lake is an easy stroll for young kids and old alike. Beautiful in all seasons. Parking can run out on the summer/fall weekends

$10/CAR entrance fee. Once you pay, there is no help around that we could find. You have to ask for a map and then the map is very difficult to read. At the minimum, there should be a color coded board that you could refer...More

This is a beautiful pristine park that has something for everyone. I highly recommend everyone pack a picnic and explore for the day! I would bring or wear footwear that you can cool off in the clear crisp streams that are bubbling through the trails.

This is the one the most beautiful preserves I have ever been to. There are so many beautiful books and crannies I can even describe. A breathtaking trail is to the waterfalls. The waterfall trail is pretty short down to the bottom. You can push...More

Lots of options for hiking. Day trips, weekenders, short runs. Bring your own map, handouts are lame.

I'm not really an expert on Uber/Lyft in the MHV, but I would expect it would be pretty straightforward to get from the train station to the park. Returning is probably also pretty straightforward, but you're probably going... More
