The views were awesome. Check in and weigh in was easy. They offer a military discount which is always a perk.

Let me set the record straight. This is not really scary in reality unless you're one of those people who is petrified simply by the idea. I'm 50 years old, and I wouldn't hesitate to do this at 75. From what I understand, someone who was 87 did it recently. Eagle Flyer seems to take safety very seriously - and it's obvious that the equipment and operation are well run and maintained. That being said, going down the zipline is a much more controlled experience than you think. It's not like the feeling of going down a very steep roller coaster where your stomach is in knots. The motion is very smooth and you truly feel like you're a bird flying through the air. There is minor jolting at the end when you come to a stop, but it's manageable and nothing to worry about. We loved the zipline so much, that we ended up doing it twice. This is the way to go, because you're much more relaxed the second time around. The views of Lake George and nature all around are spectacular. I would actually describe the whole experience as breathtaking, relaxing, and deeply poetic, which is a weird thing to say when you're 125 feet up travelling at up to 50mph. Yes, it's a serene feeling to fly over the treetops, and the experience is one that I highly recommend for anyone who embraces living and nature. So stop being scared, get off the couch, and just do it!!! You won't regret it.

My adult daughter and I had a zip line trip on our "bucket lists". The Eagle Flyer satisfied the requirement... a 1000 foot drop from the top of a mountain. The views of Lake George during the drop were fantastic... it felt like we were flying. The crew oerating the attraction were very helpful and safety conscious. The $50 cost is reasonable for a zip line (for an additional $25 you can go twice). Highly recommended!

I did not actually go on the zip line tour, but my daughter did, and loved it. From what I observed, it was well organized, and the guides were very nice and helpful to the participants. Everyone who came off the tour RAVED about it! Whether you're a spectator or participant, you should bring a camera!

We had so much fun doing this, I did it twice in one weekend. should have saved myself some money and just gone twice on both days, hahaha. It is a fun experience, and feels much safer than what you would anticipate. Great view of Lake George on the way down as well. Just overall a really fun experience.
