This is still a pristine and beautiful lake. The clarity of the water is certainly a drawing card. With seasonal changes, it is always a vacation attraction. Summers are the best, but there is a lot going on in the winter too with nearby ski areas, and the annual winter carnival.

We did the new years day cruise around the lake and it was beautiful. It includes with your ticket - excellent food, and a few cocktails. So much fun.

We love Lake George! Peaceful, so many things to do. Kayak, bike ride, cruising, amazing restaurants, horseback riding, parasailing, shopping, hiking, skiing.... and more. It's a great place, family oriented, with amazing views surrounded by beautiful mountains. Great for couples and family time. Recommend 100%

There are so many tourists at Lake George that the service people there don't even lift their head to look at you to assist you with anything like buying tickets to their cruise ships. There were loud groups of tourists drinking alcohol with children crawling around bawling. Before you get on the cruises, you are in line like cattle and... More

This place looks amazing and romantic. Would be good for couples. Not good to visit in winter. I got some beautiful shots in this place. Check them in my submissions.

We visited during the winter when many of the attractions and services were closed, but still found several things to do.

Quaint small town with lots of things to do. Love taking the river boat tour and walking along the boardwalk.

Lake George was a beautiful place. The view of the mountains and lakes were spectacular. It is such a wonderful place to visit with family and friends. In the winter, its fun to go sledding with family and friends. In the spring, hiking on the mountains is such a fun experience to do.

The town was kind of closed but what was open was nice. We were there in November and they did a polar plunge. They are having another in February along with snow mobilize on the ice.
