on our way to tinghir, we traveled through this area. there were some vendors selling scarfs and such. the road through the canyons and cliffs were cool and breezy and we took some fantastic pictures within the gorge. then we walked down further into the...More

We only made a quick visit to the gorge. Walking along the road gave one perspective. A narrow width dominated by towering red cliffs which are nearly vertical. A recent slide damaged the hotel/restaurant alongside the and it is now closed. We are pleased with...More

Approach through interesting villages, beautiful rugged scenery. Gorge is cool to walk through -- literally, it was freezing cold in late December! There are sellers of souvenirs all around - so either enjoy that or avoid it! A restaurant down a bit from the gorge,...More

The gorge is awe-inspiring. After that, the loop takes you up a long ravine to a view of the surrounding countryside, a nomad camp, and the village near the main road. Make sure you have a good map (or directions) to explain which forks to...More

This location is nature at it's purest, pure and simple. I would recommend walking, using a cab is a waste of the scenery.

Breathtaking views from the foot of the canyon. Great place for adventureurs. Very good food and fantastic people at Kasbah Dar Ahlam that we just checked-in a few hours ago. Will deffinitely go back. Memorable experience.

Unfortunately, I only planned for one night in Todra Gorge, and while my girlfriend and I did get to see a lot of the gorge from the road, we didn't get to do much hiking. The gorge is massive; the rock walls must be close...More

I had some very nice multi-pitch climbs (5a-5c) in the gorge. Its one of the nicest rocks I climbed. Also driving or biking in the gorge is a very nice experience.

Very beautiful canyon with a beautiful road that leads all the way through it is an oasis. Very nice Landscape! The road through the Todgha Gorge is narrow and lots of pothole.

Even if your time is limited, this is a must see. The gorge is very deep and narrow with red walls towering above you. I was overwhelmed by the sheer beauty and serenity. WHEN YOU LOOK UPON THE WATER, YOU WONDER AT HOW THIS MAGNIFICENT...More

Yes. We drove all through Morocco with no problems. We rented a car in Marrakech and then stayed in Tinehar for 2 days to see the gorge and surrounding area. If you are driving, you may want to drive up the gorge to a real... More
