Wilderness beauty. Adirondack history. Serenity. Cruise the pristine waters of Lake Placid in one of our enclosed pontoon boats. The hour-long, narrated tour travels 16 miles on one of the world's most beautiful lakes. See and hear about the stately manors situated along the shore, Adirondack wildlife, and Whiteface Mountain, site of the alpine events during the 1980 Winter Olympic Games. A Lake Placid boat tour is a must for all visitors to the Adirondacks. Rain or shine, it is truly a delightful experience.

Nice little cruise around lake with a personable story telling captain. Not too expensive for entertainment on a sunny warm day.

A good boat tour is how informed and energetic the tour guide is, particularly with their enjoyment of telling the history of the area, secrets of the place and even some yarns to entertain. This tour provided all of those gifts. We discovered Kate Smith...More

I enjoyed the boat ride around Lake Placid. It was $17 and lasted an hour. You got to see some pretty views and learn more about the "camps" along the lake. It was definitely seeing it from a different perspective. I wish there was more...More
