Wilderness beauty. Adirondack history. Serenity. Cruise the pristine waters of Lake Placid in one of our enclosed pontoon boats. The hour-long, narrated tour travels 16 miles on one of the world's most beautiful lakes. See and hear about the stately manors situated along the shore, Adirondack wildlife, and Whiteface Mountain, site of the alpine events during the 1980 Winter Olympic Games. A Lake Placid boat tour is a must for all visitors to the Adirondacks. Rain or shine, it is truly a delightful experience.

Well worth the fee for this tour. I will be happy to take that tour again next time we go there with friends. It is an hour guided tour on pontoon boats. The captain was a wealth of information about all the camps and islands.

This attraction is a MUST DO when visiting Lake Placid. The Lake Tour was a perfect way to see the beautiful homes that dot the shore line of the lake, especially since most are not accessible by car, but only by boat. The Boat/Tour Guide...More

Great way to spend an hour on this beautiful lake. Aaron was a great guide and shared very interesting stories about the history both past and current. Wish it had been a bit longer because it was so beautiful out on the water.

Nice little cruise around lake with a personable story telling captain. Not too expensive for entertainment on a sunny warm day.

We were expecting a simple boat ride around Lake Placid but were pleasantly surprised that it included lots of little known information about the many lavish "camps" that circle the lake. The tour guide kept us on the edge of our seats as he pointed...More

This is a really nice boat ride for all ages, especially if you've never been to Lake Placid before. You will get a one hour ride around the lake and learn all kinds of information regarding the rich and famous who have owned the "camps"...More
